INTERNET CONNECTIVITY NOW AVAILABLE AT JULAU BAZAAR

SIBU: All government departments, three schools and two longhouses at Julau Bazaar will now enjoy wireless internet connectivity.

Federal Deputy Minister of Energy, Water and Communication, Datuk Salang Gandum who launched the facility at the community hall on Saturday, thanked DANAWA Resources Sdn Bhd and SACOFA Sdn Bhd for working together in bringing the facility to the people at Julau District.

He also visited Rumah Luke Lipa longhouse to witness students making use of the facility before handing over a computer set to the chief, Luke Lipa. The computer unit was sponsored by DANAWASA Resources Sdn Bhd.

Among those present at the function were DANAWASA chairman Datuk Abdul Hamed Sepawi, Sarikei deputy Resident, Felicia Tan and SAO Nyelang.
